Choose a ticket
Open the “Tickets” tab at the bottom of the screen. The “Buy” tab lists the lift tickets on sale.
Tap “Buy” on the ticket you want.
How to use
From buying a lift ticket to picking it up and getting a receipt — what to do on each screen.
STEP 1 – 8
Buying goes through the screens below. Payment is made on a page run by the payment service Stripe.

Open the “Tickets” tab at the bottom of the screen. The “Buy” tab lists the lift tickets on sale.
Tap “Buy” on the ticket you want.

On “Review your purchase”, choose the number of tickets for each category (adult, senior and so on).
Under “How to get your ticket”, choose how you will receive it.
When you are done, tap “Choose who will use them” at the bottom.

This ticket is issued per person, so you sign in with your Web Ticket Shop (Axess) account.
If you bought lift tickets from the Rusutsu online shop in a previous season, you can sign in with the same account. If you do not have one, create one from “Don’t have an account?”. If you forgot your password, reset it from “Forgot your password?”.
After signing in, choose a user for each ticket. For senior and youth tickets, attach a photo of an ID such as a student card that shows the name and date of birth (not needed if already registered).
When you are done, tap “Review the notice”.

Read the notice to the end, tick the “I agree” box at the bottom, then tap “Proceed to payment”.
Until the box is ticked, the button stays grey and says “Please check the agreement box”.

On iPhone, a prompt appears: “RUSUTSU” Wants to Use “checkout.stripe.com” to Sign In. Tap “Continue”.
This is an iPhone prompt for opening the payment page. Nothing is signed in or registered. The prompt does not appear on Android.

Payment is made on a page run by the payment service Stripe, which opens inside the app. If the top of the page says “checkout.stripe.com”, you are on the right page. It may look as if you have left the app, but this is normal.
On phones with Apple Pay, an “Apple Pay” button appears first. To pay by card, tap the button below it to pay another way.
Enter your email address, card number, expiry date, security code and cardholder name, then tap “Pay”. Your card details are not stored in the Rusutsu app.
Once the payment is complete, you are returned to the app automatically.
If you close the payment page partway, you can return to the same page from “Continue to payment” on the order screen (see “If something goes wrong” below).

Depending on the card, your card issuer may show a verification screen (3-D Secure). Enter the code sent to you by SMS or email and tap “Continue”.
Once verified, the payment is completed and you are returned to the app automatically.

When “Purchase complete” is shown, you are done. Right after paying, the screen may say the payment is being confirmed; it updates after a short while.
Tap “See my tickets” to see the tickets you bought.
MY TICKETS
Your tickets are under “Tickets” → “My tickets”.

The QR code for exchange is shown in “My tickets”. Hold it up to the reader on a ticket machine (pick-up box) at the resort, and an IC card lift ticket comes out.
Tickets can be issued about 5 minutes after the payment is complete.
If you bought several tickets, each one has its own QR code — swipe left and right to switch. Different people can pick them up at different times. Once picked up, the ticket shows “Issued”.

Tickets on an IC card are shown in “My tickets”, one card at a time. A card you overwrote does not need to go through the ticket machine — go straight to the lift gate.
For hour-based tickets, the remaining time is shown once you have passed through a gate (in whole hours). Tap the card to see the gate history.
RECEIPT

Tap “Purchase history” at the top right of the “Tickets” screen and choose the order you need a receipt for.

Under “Receipt” at the bottom of the order screen, tap “View receipt” to open the receipt from the payment service Stripe. You can save or print it.
Tap “Send by email” to have the receipt sent to an email address you enter.
The receipt shows the tickets bought, the amount, the date and time of payment and the last 4 digits of the card.
Receipts are issued by the payment service Stripe.
Help
Tick the “I agree” box at the bottom of the notice screen. Until it is ticked, the button stays grey and cannot be tapped.
The phone is not connected to the internet. Move to a place with better reception, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then try again.
Open the order from “Purchase history”. “Continue to payment” takes you back to the same payment page. If the order has expired, buy again with “Buy again”. You are not charged for an order that was not paid.
Pull down on the order screen to refresh. If it still says the payment is being confirmed, wait a moment and try again. If it does not change, contact us from the inquiry button at the bottom of the order screen (the order number is filled in automatically).
Turn up the screen brightness and hold the whole QR code up to the reader. Tickets can be issued about 5 minutes after the payment is complete. A ticket that already shows “Issued” cannot be issued again.
Sign in with Apple or Google on the “Account” screen. On the new phone, signing in with the same account brings your tickets across. We recommend signing in before you buy.
For questions about a ticket, use the inquiry button at the bottom of the order screen. For app problems or your account, see the support page.
Support pageScreens are as of October 2026 and may differ slightly from the current app.
